The brief was to design a 10 hour learning experience that broadened students vision and imagination. Inspired by the maverick 16th century artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo, we designed a project that explored the process of facial reconstruction in a very simplified manner. Students looked for physical representations of their own face,  encouraged to reimagine what certain aspects of the face might have looked like, if they could only be depicted through the use of fruit and vegetables.

We were lucky enough to view Arcimboldo's original paintings in The Louvre, Paris.  We reckon the kids did him proud!  Enjoy the video.
